Public - a restaurant and bar located on the corner of Turbot and George Streets in Brisbane’s CBD. Embracing fun and social dining, our menu has been designed to share. We offer a casual eating experience with the finesse of fine dining.
Our cocktails are innovative and delicious, brought to you by some of Australia’s finest bartenders.

NOW OPEN FOR BREAKFAST 7am – 11am Monday to Friday!

Kitchen: Mon-Fri Midday-11pm Sat 5pm-11pm
Bar: Mon-Fri 11am-Midnight Sat 3pm-Midnight

Lets not call it tapas, let’s refer to the dishes as small plates and then share them like tapas.
At Public we have combined the the ideas of a casual eatery with the cuisine and finesse of a fine dining experience.
We are elegant and refined with a sense of fun in everything we do.

Functions & Events

Public is a diverse venue with a variety of spaces on offer for functions, events and parties. We have two private dining rooms; The Library and The Dining Room, both can be used for private dining, whilst The Dining Room also offers full corporate boardroom capabilities, projector, PowerPoint and iPod connectivity. The main restaurant and bar is also available for select full or partial venue hire.
